Please download before use (ie don’t attempt to edit the online version). You should see 3 dots top right of screen – click on these to download to your desktop. Recommend reading the notes page first and also worth reading the primary accountability guidance for more information about nominal scores, p-scales and pre-key stage pupils. Quite a bit more complicated this year with more prior attainment groups (24 instead of 21), closing of the loophole (pupils not scoring on test receive a score of 79), and nominal scores assigned to individual p-scales (rather than blanket score of 70 assigned to BLW).
Which, in my opinion, means this year’s progress data is not comparable with last year’s, but hey ho…..

The VA Calculator and Groups does not download when clicking on the links.

I love this tool and am trying to use it to have a look at what is expected throughout all of KS2. I know it is not a prediction tool but find it useful to know (I don't like surprises). Is there any way we could have a version that incorporates KS1 results (WTS, EXS, GDS).

Unfortunately not until DfE have released methodology and we have one year’s results, which won’t be until autumn 2020 i’m afraid. Best option is FFT.

We've recently carried out the 2016 SATS but should I use the 2017 thresholds for the Standardised Scores to make the prediction as accurate as possible considering how the threshold for reading went up by 5 marks?
I think you should use the 2016 thresholds as those are the ones that apply to that particular test. The change in thresholds indicate the change in the difficulty of the test so it wouldn’t be right to use 2017 thresholds in my opinion.
